Building a compiler for a particular Coarse Grain Reconfigurable Array is a challenging endeavor. Building a meta-compiler for a class of CGRAs is even more challenging, but is of greater utility. A meta-compiler enables efficient design space exploration and removes the human-in-the-loop. This talk will present an overview of how we compile Halide applications to not only run on the chip we taped out, but also any island-style CGRA.
